Survey to determine level of post graduate qualified persons within Control & Instrumentation and the respective areas of specialization / use there off

This survey attempts to determine number of people within Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Industry within South Africa and their respective "post graduate" qualifications i.e. who have completed studies after having completed minimum requirements to perform works / be employed. This includes BEng, BTech, BSC, BHon, MSC, MEng, Masters, DEng & Doctorate i.e. qualifications of SAQA NQF Level 7 and above. The survey does not attempt to disciminate against people who are lower qualified or even unqualified. We are trying to determine some information re higher qualified people at this stage as part of SAIMC Professional Services Sub Committee. We also need to know area of specialization i.e. masters in flow, etc. Also of interest is which BTech projects were completed. Idea is to determine if there is scope of leveraging these further in terms of best practices, commercialization, etc. and simply to formulate a view of specialists areas / pockets which exist and to determine amount of people who have additional qualifications. Provision is not made for people stuyding as yet toward higher qualifications. Also of interest is people who have goverment ticket GCC or other qualifications / certifications (inc. ECSA) which may be relevant i.e. CAP, etc. Note survey is aimed at people who are deemed to form part of Control & Instrumentation domain (not electrical engineering). This includes people who studied Electrical Engineering Light current / Electronics (T / S courses) or who have done briding courses to these or equivalent. If you studied internationally and operate locally or in RSA you are welcome to complete survey. Findings to be shared in due course. Feel free to contribute.
